The Manfrotto Combi-Boom baby stands 420B in black aluminum is the most popular combi alu baby stand that Manfrotto makes! It has 4 sections, 3 risers, and a threaded baby spigot (16mm/ 5/8″). When used as a traditional light stand it reaches a maximum height of 392 cm/154.3 in and has a 9 kg/19.8 lb capacity. The combination built-in pivot clamp converts this stand easily into a boom! When the combi boom stand is in boom mode the minimum boom extension is 19 cm/7.5 inch and when fully extended the max boom extension is 191 cm/75 inch and the capacity is 2 kg/4.4 lbs. Whether in traditional stand mode or in boom mode the included hooked sandbag is a useful addition to provide boom counterbalance or increase stand stability.
