Description
The DMX12ANL-5 and DMX12ANL-TB series are 12 channel DMX512 to analog 0-10V interfaces. They are available with either 5 pin XLR connectors or pluggable terminal blocks for the DMX512 in and thru connections. The analog outputs for both versions appear on pluggable terminal blocks. These units can be used as portable devices, or they can be rack mounted using optional rack kit model RK8-1.
Each analog output is capable of sourcing or sinking up to 15mA. No user adjustments or modifications are needed to select sourcing or sinking modes. Each output channel has a dedicated common terminal to ease field wiring. The DMX512 input is optically isolated from the analog outputs. The analog outputs are not isolated from each other. 0-12 volt output is available on special order. Output isolation diodes can be installed for theatrical dimming applications (ANSI E1.3 current sourcing).
Indicators are provided for POWER, SIGNAL (DMX512), and MIMIC 1. The latter mimics the level of the first analog output. These are useful diagnostic indicators to verify addressing and operation.
